Do you have any birds? Little fat belly birds are so cute!

  2. Coconuts says:

A geisha. With a big bow in the back of her kimono.

  3. kelly jeanie says:

Bugs! Little cute bugs, not the anatomically correct kind. Or snails.

  4. holly says:

I think a little house kind of doll, complete with bonnet and little rag doll.

  5. Brooke says:

I think that an elephant would be nice. You do nt see many of them out there.

  6. Alissa says:

    Alice in Wonderland characters!

  7. allena says:

you can make so many different things! you have so many good choices from the other comments. but you don’t want to make a bear or a rag doll b/c there are many patterns of those out there. i have so many ideas i can’t just put it down to one.. but if i have to you could always make a pattern for a giraffe. i just like the way their long necks stick out. and floppy legs all around…fun times.

  8. Alex says:

What about a polar bear or a panda.. some sort of obscure type of bear?
I love floppy knit teddy bears, but they tend to be the same type.. At least these can be a bit different.
Good luck picking out what you want to make!
    🙂

  9. Kel says:

A rubber-ducky! Not a normal duck – but a cute cartoon-like rubber ducky – then you could have awesome ducky variations using colour-work! PLEASE!

Dammit, I really want a rubber ducky pattern now 🙂

  10. heather says:

Make your mother in law and you can voodoo her. And tell her you are honoring her by making her.

  11. Missy says:

What about something like a dolphin?

  12. Alexsis says:

So… my favorite animal has always been the mountain goat… feel up to the challenge????

  13. Eliany says:

I would love a fairy!!! With pointy ears and lace dress… what do you think?

  14. Michelle says:

I have a preference for hedgehogs, frogs and mice.

  15. Michelle says:

Okay, this is a bit unusual, but what about an expectant momma? You could do the preggers belly with short rows, wrap & turns, what do you think? Too complicated maybe? Then how about a flamingo?

  16. andrea says:

    whales! they are so sweet!

squirrels, trees, bushes, and gnomes. you can create a forest series!

  17. deanna says:

I would love to see a dragon or a wizard, maybe both together, love fantasy characters. Elf, dwarf, knight, princess, ogres, trolls, etc. I am sure you get the idea.

  18. deanna says:

ok, here is another idea, maybe some funny face fruits and vegetables. ok, I will stop now.

  19. Luv2stitch says:

There are some great ideas posted so far and I love everything that you’ve already done. How about something like a generic superhero theme.

  20. leah says:

I vote for a tiger or zebra.

  21. Coconuts says:

    A sumo?

  23. Kel says:

I am going to vote again – I’d love to see a cute fluffy puppy pattern – for something like a west highland terrier. It’d be so cute it could induce squealing.

  24. Katherine says:

    a duck-billed platypus.

  25. Miki says:

I think you should make a cute skunk or maybe possum. It would be creative to see if you could make something that is stereotypically unattractive into something that is pretty.

if you are leaning towards knit dolls in human form, I think something form the past would “be a blast!” Maybe something Victorian or a little cowboy?

  26. Luv2stitch says:

Ooh, one more thought. I would love to see an Anteater! My daughter’s college mascot is the Anteater and I haven’t found any patterns anywhere.

  27. Natalie says:

A Kangaroo. Then I could knit my daughter a representation of her imaginary friend, Joey. 🙂

  28. Sunshyne says:

    Oh! I missed the contest, but I really like the fat belly bird idea from eliza and also the idea Miki had of doing something “stereotypically unnattractive”.. like ratties : }

  29. angel says:

your patterns are awesome….wish there were more knit ones…
