    2. Red Pandas

    3. Tapirs, especially baby ones
    [http://www.rp-online.de/layout/showbilder/331-tapir_baby_mandula_zoo_budapest2_ap.jpg]

    4. Capybaras

    5. Meerkats and Prairie Dogs
(quite similar in a furry-standing-up-y way)

  56. Berri Ellis says:

  57. Jen says:

You know what is awfully cute is the red-tailed panda. My brother got a stuffed one for my daughter b/c it’s his favorite animal at the Brooklyn Zoo. Here are some good shots: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_Panda

  59. Nyxxie says:

Puppy dogs or any kind of dogs.

  60. Virginia says:

    Happy fruits and veggies!

  61. Sarah says:

I would absolutely LOVE to see a flamingo! I have only seen one pattern ever for a flamingo and it was for knitters – and it was hideous! A cute chubby little flamingo to make you think of tropical paradises – especially when the summer weather just doesn’t want to kick in yet!

Or . . . and I may be getting a little nostalgic here – but I would also LOVE to see something inspired by the 80’s fantasy movie, THE LABYRINTH. That funny little caterpillar in the beginning, the cutesy goblins, there’s so many ideas to be pulled from that movie – and let’s not forget how HOT David Bowie was as the goblin king yes?

  62. I’d love to see a crocheted guitar or some other kind of musical instrument. Thanks!

  63. Breanna says:

orangutan! I think that their babies are just adorable and of course it would need a diaper

  64. Peg Mawby says:

The Cotton-Top Tamarin. This cute little monkey is about the size of a squirrel and has a funny “little old man” kind of face with a fluffy white “cotton-top” on his head. Since I am new to crochet and amigurumi I will be happy to try any new pattern. Thanks!

  65. Dee says:

I have the wonderful pleasure of taking my 20-month old son, Calvin, to work with me every day where my sister and I work for our Dad. In the front office, my sister has a large aquarium with 3 red-eared slider turtles. Calvin loves to help his Aunt feed them earthworms. He gets especially excited about catching bugs (beetles specifically) outside and carrying them in to feed to the turtles.

Ok, so with that being said, here’s my idea of a fun doll to make. … A cute little red-eared turtle with worms/bugs that you can “feed” him (take in/out of his mouth).

Otherwise, I’d love anything that I could make for my little boy to play with!

  66. Andrea says:

Happy belated birthday1 You are making me feel soooo old LOL!!
I’d love to see a pattern for a baby dragon1 Or a rat – I love rats! Or some “off the wall” type rabbits…………
    Happy stitching!
    Andrea

  75. glenna says:

    Thanks

  76. De'Anna says:

Hello and a very Happy Birthday to you!!
I have 2 ideas (hope that is ok)
Both of these I cannot seem to find patterns to crochet and love them both!
Alpaca –wonderful fiber comes from them and they are so cute with their big ol’ eyes.
Weiner dog (dachshund or doxen) :)–they have such great personailites that I just know you could catch in your designs.
    Again HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
What great ideas you have in front of you to pick from *yikes*

  77. Briana says:

How about an alpaca. They are so cute and very popular now.

Or, a flamingo with assorted hats to wear along with maybe clothes.

    Happy Birthday!

  78. Shalom says:

I think you should do a collection of Endangered animal series with a little bio attached to the little guys. A percentage of the sale of the patterns could go to an angency that protects them.

You can also do a Flora and Fauna series. Cute Flowers, Cute Leaves, Cute Apple Trees, Cute Fir Trees, etc..

I know that two for ya.

  79. orkaloca says:

I’ve had a nice idea, I think… You could do a cuttlefish that change colour like a real one!
    I explain…
You can do a “cuttlefish base”, let’s say in light brown, for exemple.
Now, a cuttlefish has a flat back and a flat head, hasn’t it?
You can now do some separate and colorful “back plates” and “head plates” that you can attach to the cuttlefish’s back and head with little buttons (may be snap buttons).
In that way you can have a cuttlefish that change color, because when you want to change colour to the cuttlefish you can just take off the and replace it with another one of different color.

    ^_______^
    I’d love a similar thing.

    bye and happy birthday!

  80. orkaloca says:

    errata corrige

    “take off the and replace”

    is

“take off the plates and replace”

  81. Tamsin says:

Thanks Vicky! I guess you mean this?

Would love to see an Anteater. Happy Birthday!

  83. Clara says:

Oh I sent a reply to the newsletter but maybe i was supposed to put my entry here.

    I just love hedgehogs

  84. Sarah Wiggin says:

I would love to see one of those colorful poisonous looking tree frogs, with big huge eyes! Or a colorful gecko or lizard, with big huge eyes!

  85. Alicia Behrends says:

Happy Birthday!!! How about a cute little weasel, a ferret or mink, they are so cute and they are very funny as well. They hunch their backs up and do barrel rolls all over! πŸ™‚ I had two of them and they are no longer with us but my gosh they are adorable animals. A skunk with a furry tail and a mohawk would be cute. A donkey would be funny too!! Hee Haw!!

  86. zeropixie says:

Happy Birthday!! Once my brain got going I came up with a whole list but here are a few.
Military Nomes, Alpaca, Llama, Goat, Warthog, Camel, Cape buffalo.

  87. What about an entire chess set? It would entail making a king, queen, tower, horse, etc. etc. and the chess board. On other words a magnum opus!
